Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior CAD Engineer at MECHMAN Alternators in Knoxville, TN. The Senior CAD Engineer will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to computer-aided design (CAD) activities.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA) drawing and modeling
- Experience in mechanical engineering and design
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles and best practices
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and requirements
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field - Past experience will be evaluated if no degree
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
- Automotive background a plus (ex. alternators, engine stands) and electrical knowledge a plus
